This page will feature links to web sites of some Bible-believing churches we hope you will visit.
These are all Independent, King James Bible-believing Baptists
Brother Mike Hoover is the pastor of STAMPERS CREEK HISTORIC BAPTIST CHURCH near Paoli in Orange County, Indiana. This is a small but lively congregation where family structure is obviously important. Learn about Biblical courtship and marriage, as well as child rearing and discipline.
PLEASANT VIEW BAPTIST CHURCH in Taylors, SC, is pastored by Bro. Stacey Shiflett. This church maintains the old-fashioned ways of worship from old Baptist heritage and distinctives. Enjoy particularly the church's Camp Meeting every year in June. We would entrust our own family to the ministries of this church!
HARRIMAN BAPTIST TABERNACLE, located at 1423 Old Roane Street, in Harriman, Tennessee, is also an old-fashioned independent Baptist church we recommend. Dr. James Jones is a faithful expositor of the Scriptures. The church hosts a Bible institute. There is no web page, but email the church at the link.
On the south side of St. Louis, Missouri proper, you will find the ARNOLD BAPTIST TABERNACLE. The church's pastor, Bro. James Beller is the author of several excellent books on Baptist history, and a Baptist history workbook suitable for home schoolers, Christian schools, and Bible institutes. That sense of history and heritage will be found at the Arnold Baptist Tabernacle.
We are always grateful to FAITH BAPTIST CHURCH in Milton, Florida, and the church-based missions organization, HOME & ABROAD MISSIONS, for their kind care of our support and other resources since October 1986. Dr. Dewey Mars, a former merchant seaman, and missionary to merchant seamen, is the pastor. We have always appreciated the emphasis of the Faith Baptist Church pulpit on the simplicity of the Gospel of the Grace of God, and its encouragement of world-wide missions. If you are traveling through the Florida Panhandle, please stop to visit Faith Baptist Church in Milton.
